| Just finished installing my sound system. I have a new 5-channel Rockford Fosgate R600-5 Amplifier, Infinity Perfect 6.5 Components up front and Infinity Kappa 63.5i speakers in the rear. I have the same issue on my BMW X5, but it's barely perceptible. I ran all the speaker wire down the center console, and the amplifier power cable down the passenger side. I used the ground that was recommended to me underneath the parcel tray where the amp is mounted. The speaker wires and power cable connect to the amp on the passenger side of the amp. They shouldn't be crossing each other or even near each other (except perhaps on the passenger front speaker). Should I try disconnecting speakers one by one and see if it goes away? Also I have the amp gain levels turned up all the way, I think that is making things worse. Any suggestions? My RCA's connect on the driver side of the amp, they are also running down the center console - far away from the power cable. Could it be ground loops? Any suggestions appreciated!
