| Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and would love some help. I apologize for this being a long read but i feel as though some points may be necessary to better understand exactly what im going through. I'd really appreciate any input at all. I lost my job because of this thing and I need it again to find a new one. I bought this car about 2 months ago. Beautiful car, inside an out. Seems almost completely stock except for a system, stillen side mounts, and a cold air. I drove about 2 hours to get it. It was near a beach for what it's worth. I got it and drove it a bit but it seemed to be hesitating badly but I assumed it was because the car had set for almost 2 years (I'm suspecting) and needed to clear itself out and just needed to be driven. I filled up, it seemed to clear itself out for the rest of the ride home. Did the normal stuff, new plugs (ngk laser platinums), oil and filter. And then I really started to feel a miss. I did a balance test, cyl 6 was missing, was getting spark but no fire. So I assumed it to be fuel related and more likely than not it was the injector. I removed the plenum and saw that someone had been in there before and changed 3 spark plugs and left 3 old ones. One of which was the culprit cylinder. So I replaced only 3 because the condition of the ones that had been replaced seemed great and they all had fire previous to the pull. Put it all back together. Had to splice and solder some of the previous persons mistakes. (I hard wired the detonation connector as well, I noticed it once the plenum was almost fully on and I had no room to play with so I hard wired where the connector goes) I started the car took it out for a drive and it started its stuttering and sputtering all over again. It is an intermittent problem. For the first couple minutes it runs fine, no studder or shake. purring. It only happens once the car is at NOT. The engine will shake an seems to be running down a cyl or 2. But I seem to find that hard to believe as everything worked fine before. I can hit the gas and accelerate extremelyyyyy slowly and choppy is a good word to describe what i feel behind the wheel. Its excruciating to drive it farther than a mile because i dont want it to act up and me be far from home. And it is almost like the engine wants to fall out the bottom. Im conviniced the car is towing a huge nightmarishly large boulder behind it...It can clear out for a split second and right back to jumping, stuttering and sputtering. Before i did any of this i would notice a rotten efg smell coming when i am on the turbos. i considered that a great possibility of my issue and completely removed the main cats. To no avail. But i started to hear a popping from the exhaust with them gone. No CEL. ecu diagnostic codes read :55. So no problems that are being detected. I removed the coils and plugs. Plug on cyl one seemed as though the tip was glossy where as all the rest had almost a white look to it. also the plug was yellowish near the electrode. they are all showing signs of running rich with heavy black soot around the ends. i switched that coil and plug to another slot and they are working properly. I tried to ohm the coils but the ohm readings were irritic and never the same twice. I personally believe the air fuel mixture is wrong or a connector or sensor isn't working properly. (But what did I really just eliminate haha) I don't know where to start. Where to begin my search, and to top it off unfortunately its my only car as of now..and I would truly appreciate any help that points me in the right direction. Because trial and error through process of elimination isn't the smartest thing to do and I don believe my pocket or my girlfriend would like that too awful much haha. As a side note my odometer isnt consistant and my oil pressure gauge is usually all over the place from 95+ all the way as low as zero. Thank you for reading, Dan
