Message	It looks like it may just be the holes in the oil pump are slightly off. I would ream a couple of the holes to see if I could get it to line up flush. Then test fit oil pan. There really should be no gap at all. Otherwise, if this isn't something you want to do, take the oil pump back from wherever you got it and get another one. Try taking a pic of the gap when the pan is on. Put a flashlight in the pan first so you can see how much light is escaping.
