Hey all, so here's the deal: I was driving home from work the other day, and I suddenly start to realize the car is having difficulty going into gear. Odd I thought, so I pumped the clutch, and eventually got it to go. At first I thought it was some sort of fluke, but 2 miles later my problems got MUCH worse. I was driving along and suddenly I start losing pressure and continue to have gear problems going in as well as removing from gear. When the car was in gear, I'd roll to a stop with the clutch fully pressed in and then the car would still remain engaged in gear and stall. I also had a lot of difficulty getting it out of gear without pumping the clutch. Eventually, the car started to smoke a little after pumping the clutch. I figured the master or slave cylinder failed. Well, I had it towed to the stealership and they replaced both the master and slave cylinder and sent me on my way. Right after I left the place, I started having the exact same early symptoms as I had before things completely failed. Difficulty getting into and out of gear without pumping a bit. The clutch engages within half an inch of letting out. When pressed in, the car doesn't actually disengage and causes the car to stall as I roll to a stop. What is the most likely culprit in this case? Clutch plate, flywheel, throwout bearing, bushings, ? Thanks in advance for any advice!
