People search in the tech forum for issues, and if they come across your post without anyone correcting it, they will see false information. You are correct that when cold, at idle it will jump all over the place. Timing must be set after the engine has warmed up. I don't know what his issue is, but I would recommend him calling SZ before posting here in tech, considering they are the brightest tuners and his tune is from them.
