Message	yourself clear.... the job can be done with only the removal of the throttle cable (plastic cover). I'm sure there's a write up about it somewhere. If replacing the hose doesn't fix it then yes you may have to replace the fuel rail... but that requires the removal of the top plenum chamber and not the lower one. see the first reply.
