Subject	Dash warning lights 96 TT

Message	I have two questions. First, when I press the brake pedal or turn on the lights a red warning light on the dash appears. Its similar to the blue high beam light. What does this mean. I've verified that all bulbs are good and working properly. Second, I replaced my cats with test pipes, now the check engine light is on because the o2 sensors (located after the CATs) are not installed. My question is since these o2 sensors are located after the CATs and the reading will be the same as before the CATs will the check engine light still stay on.
