Message So my problem began as needing new injectors, after 9 hours and ALOT of help from a guy who knows his Z's like the back of his hand, the Plenum was pulled and the new injectors went in along with a water bypass. Next day my Z was running better than it ever has before, it was such a great feeling to actually use ALL of the power! The same night I start her up and started driving home... I ended up stooping at a gas station and filling up then once again hopped in, turned the key, put in gear and I was off. At this point nothing had been wrong with the car, it was driving great and had no problems. I wake up this morning and get in the Z to go to school and when I turned the key it made a loud knock noise almost as if you hit the hollow part of a wall made out of drywall with end of your hand... I tried starting it a couple times but the same knock would happen so I just ended up taking someone else's car to school due to lack of time. When I got home I immediately put my stuff inside and went out to the car and tried starting it again. What do you know, same old knock... I then decided to hold the key in the cranking position hoping the starter would unjam itself, it worked eventually after twisting the key and twisting it back to off or even removing the key, the starter sounds like it is just free spinning and not catching on the flywheel. After about 25 minutes of waiting around, two of my friends show up and we decide the only way to get it started is to push it and pop the clutch. We give it a few tries but no luck. After about the ninth or tenth round with four people pushing it it finally turned over but started smoking like crazy. I figured it would since there was probably a considerable amount of gas in the cylinders by then so I drove it around the neighborhood and took it down palmetto park rd which is a straight main road around here. The whole time it is spewing out white smoke whether I was on or off throttle. The starter is the least of my concerns at this point. I'm not sure why its smoking so heavily and why it wont go away. Right now in my mind it seems to be that all of the backpressure from such a big explosion in the cylinders may have fried/messed up the piston rings although I'm not sure. Something else worth mentioning is that the smoke smells like gas.
So if anyone can help me figure out my problem it would be greatly appreciated!
If I left anything please do ask, we tried starting the car so I could go get my 3 month old starter replaced under warranty. The car only started on it about 30 times(15 days) because it was sitting in the driveway for a while when I was trying to get a hold of new injectors

Thanks
