| This is for a CANADIAN car, hopefully someone knows the answer. Canadian cars came equipped with headlight washing squirters (i know, wtf...). My car was missing the reservoir in the front and would not spray washer fluid to the windshield or the headlights, so I went to les local scrapyards and grabbed one. After hooking it up, putting everything back together, I didn't want to take the bumper and everything apart again to check, hopefully you guys know. There is 2 pumps on the front reservoir. One is for the headlight washers, and one is for the windshield washer. There is also a reservoir in the trunk which is labelled for the windshield (curved glass with the squirties coming out). Why is there 2 reservoirs for washer fluid? Does the rear one fill the front, and then the pump from the front feeds the windshield? Does the pump on the front have nothing to do with the reservoir in the front and it's just an inline pump to help the fluid get up to the windshield? If so, has anybody ripped off the pump to be not connected to the reservoir and deleted the reservoir completely? Headlight squirties are junk.
