missing. This is my theory- you were sucking in fresh air and causing a lean condition. The o2 sensors unlike an A/F sensor cant tell you how rich or how lean you are, they only tell the ecu rich or lean. Since the ecu never got to see the correct balance of lean, rich, lean and so on, becasue of the vacuum leaks, the ecu kept trying to richen the mixture. That may be the cause of your poor idle. Your ecu may have to adjust now that the leaks are corrected. You should be able to also disconnect the battery and take the neg and pos terminals and put them together for about a half an hour to reset the ecu. I think you know not to touch the battery neg and pos but just the terminals. Its a good idea to just remove the battery from the area just in case something touches that shoudnt. I would also check to make sure one of your o2 sensors didnt fail. Check to make sure its firing back and forth at 2k rpms as noted per the FSM. Keep me posted. Again this is just a theory...
