Here was my original post: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1134452/Weak-to-no-spark-when-car-is-hot.html ]Thanks for the help once again... since the original post I have gone over the following things: Ptu and wires all seem good Grounds are all good Coils tested good Not sure how to test the CAS, I'll probably try to find someone local to see if I can use it, but the cas seems fine and only has roughly 80k on it! TPS and Timing are set I did notice a problem, it may be a cause to this, if not I need to take care of it anyway... I noticed that since my RHD harness is shorter the main loom was resting on the coolant pipe that goes to the heater core and was starting to melt the plastic shelding. The way my harness routes, thers isnt an easy way around this, so I added some heat shielding to the harness and tried to do what I could to it, needless to say when I fired it up it ran good until warm again. It was misfiring on numbers 3/5 this time and I couldn't tell if it was spark or fuel related, normally there is a lot of smoke/fuel smell. This time there was minimal smoke but still fuel (maybe exhaust wasn't hot enough to make it smoke up?) Well anyways, I'm tired of hitting dead ends and wasting a lot of time, so I'm thinking of getting some diagnostic software like ecutalk (until I can afford better). I believe this will help me track down some issues since it can display many things at once instead of me testing everything while its hot and cold. What are your thoughts on this, and thanks again for the help/advice!
