Message	My 240sx had a code 34, and the problem was that the knock sensor signal wire had shorted to the ground sheilding around the wire. The simple fix was to cut the ground shield pigtail With the sensor disconnected, check for continuity between the sensor signal circuit and ground. If it exists, that is your problem. Also, your knock sensor must have a good ground connection to your block or else you'll get a code 34
