| Turning over is when the starter is energized and spins the flywheel and engine. Firing is when combustion starts happening. It sounds like you are saying when your TT is cold it starts right up, but when it is warm it turns over for a while before it fires. Sometimes you have to give it a lot of gas before it will fire. Is that correct? Anyway, no its not normal. I would borrow a fuel pressure gauge and check your fuel pressure following the 6Ps. Then I would possibly check the two temp sensors on the front of the coolant hard pipe. The HP shouldn't really make a difference, unless it has a different cam or something. But since it starts fine when cold, I doubt that is the case.
