Message	The springs aren't under that much tension, it won't go flying. You need a valve spring compressor, or the tool I know of is sold by snap-on. It has a metallic end that looks like a ballpoint pen which holds the collets in place and you put force onto the tool and it compresses the spring while the collets go into place. Most other valve spring tools are too bulky for the tiny pockets our springs sit inside.
