I was leaving the grocery store and the Z started up running rough, the vibrations felt like it was down a cylinder. No check engine light though to indicate that. And the idle was pretty steady, nothing strange. The sound is very odd, sounds like a muscle car or a boxer engine. Anyways, I have a conzult and it looks like the right side O2 sensor is not moving. I already ordered some new ones (as mine are very old) but now I am beginning to think it is an injector problem. Would I still get a steady idle if one were stuck open? It fires up quickly and normally, just sounding strange and some additional vibration. Another thing that is strange, my conzult's power balance test is failing, but different cylinders each time... This doesn't seem right, wouldn't I get a check engine light if cylinders were legitimately not working? Could use some ideas... I am going to ohm check injectors tomorrow morning and also do a manual power balance test rather than take my conzult's word for it.
