First off, sorry for the long post but I'm trying to describe everything the best I can! So this past Friday, I drove my 93 TT to work, perfectly fine. I drive my car hard. But no issues all the way to work. I start my car to leave work that night and it was idling very weird. It was jumping all around between 400 & 1500 RPMs, it also died out completely. I then tried pulling my car in the shop where I work and it shut off on me when I was trying to accelerate, and when it shut off, it would jerk into a very sudden stop even though I had the clutch disengaged. I ended up pushing it in the shop and noticed that my Fuel Pressure Regulator was leaking so I assumed I just had a bad fuel issue. I order the Fuel Pressure Regulator and Fuel Pressure Dampener and I put them in today. Well now I don't have a fuel leak, but the same strange idle is still there, I also have a ton of unburnt fuel coming out of my exhaust when its running. It smells like its shooting out straight fuel. When I rev my car up a little, there's a FLUTTER type noise that seems to be coming from up top of the motor somewhere. The fluttering gets louder and faster with the revs. I'm going to be checking for codes tomorrow and doing a boost leak test. I just figured that maybe somebody on here has ran into the same issues or something similar. I need a direction to go in! Thanks!!!
