Message PhilZX, not to insult your intelligence but what is the gap on your belt tensioner? If I stand correct, it should be between 4 to 4.5 mm. So long as you had the #1 at TDC and cam pulleys on thier mark you should be ok. To be on the safe side though, did you bother to count the number of cogs on the belt between the pulleys? After I rebuilt mine, it turned freely and with no stoppage although I used stock springs.
