ok, I know that normally one would not reuse a set of head bolts BUT I rebuilt my engine and unfortunately upon first start up after the fact it would no longer start. After noticing that I had no compression I took it apart again to find I had a cracked cylinder head. I am considering reusing the set of new but installed head bolts a second time. When I installed them the first time, I torqued in 3 increments being 30, 60 and 90 ft lbs. The car idled and ran for less than 2 minutes, I cannot tell you if they are TTY bolts or not but I can say that i got them from concept Z. I am sure that due to the high loads placed on these bolts that many will say go new however, I am curious to know has anyone else ever considered this before and if so, what was your outcome?
