Message at the same end cylinder pressure, the engine with lower compression has more volume in which compressed air and fuel can be contained. The motor's "displacement" doesn't change but there is more available volume in the cylinders to cram more mixture acting like a bigger engine..... more mixture = bigger boom thanks to expansion ratios =D
