Message	heater core hoses or small rear coolant lines that connector to the under plenum lines. Check the area over near the battery -- down where the exhaust pipe runs. Yellow/sticky sounds like coolant.... If you happen to hit one of the Freon lines - it shouldn't cause smoking. Freon lines for AC system are metal - so not real easy to puncture.
