My engine was out for upgraded turbos/manifolds/fuel system two years ago, and the installer put these clamps from the passenger's side compressor upside down, so they cannot be reached for tightening. I checked the clamps on the driver's side, and they were both loose enough to take a full 180+ degrees turn of tightening. I suspect the passenger's side is just as loose. My options, as I see them: 1. Live with it. The car put down only 380 hp, which is significantly lower than expected, given my mods. I suspect a boost leak is contributing to that dismal result. 2. Attempt to cut off and replace the clamps. I don't even know if this can be done without ripping through and replacing the hose as well. Have any of you had to do that? If so, did you have to take the plenum off first?
