I recently installed a new alternator this past few months. Everything works fine with that but occasionally, when I'm driving and I hit a nasty pot hole or bump in the road (Roads are terrible where I live) The car sometimes jerks back, the revs drop, and acts like it wants to stall. All of the lights stay on though. Its never completely stalled out to where I needed to re-start the car mid drive, but it happens. And only about 4 times ever. This is a new situation I am facing and only started to do this after I installed the new alternator. I figured it was lose connections to the battery, so I check my ground and terminals. Everything is nice and tight. So what else could it be? Loose ground on the alternator? Any other connections that could cause that problem to check? Thanks in advance!
