I have a 91 TT and the problem I have is that when I turn the knob to the on position(normal low beam night driving lights) the low beam lights come on but the cluster lights do not illuminate, the running tail lights do not illuminate, and the light in the cluster shows that the high beams are on. So basically the car thinks the high beams are on when the normal lights are on and none of the other running lights come on like they should. In addition to that, when you put the blinker on in either direction it turns on the hazards... im not really sure what to check for but I did check the relays on the drivers side of the hood and they seemed alright(did a continuity test on them). What should I check for? Could it possibly be a fuse causing all of the problems here? The other thing is that when I put the high beams on it says they are on but once again the low beams come on.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as driving at night thinking you are doing 40 and turning on a light only to find out you are doing 55 is not going to be a fun conversation with the cops here in Boca Raton, FL(they think they're such bad-asses)
