Message Well I took the IACV-AAC off again and tested the solenoid for the ACC and it opens the valve when power is applied. Even at engine power on not started it has power and is full open.

I was able to disconnect the IACV-AAC yellow connector while running and then I can get it to idle smoothly if I pull the o2 sensors and and pull the TPS, wait a minute and plug them all back in and cycle power. Then adjust the TPS again as it resets. But then it will idle smoothly and drive well and survive accross stops and restarting the engine. But the AAC connector is off.

And when in that mode I can adjust the idle air screw and effect the engine speed. The Manual says that to do that on a NA which this is that you need to disconnect the TPS not the AAC. AAC is for turbo idle adjustment. But disconnecting the TPS cable does not allow for idle adjustment for me. But disconnecting the AAC does. So is the manual wrong for NA?

So it idles great with the AAC connector OFF. If I put it back on the idle jumps up to 1500 and then it starts cutting out again and is very unstable idle. if I re-adjust the TPS and Air Screw for correct idle when the AAC is connected it still jumps about 500 RPM all the time.

So the problem is back again when the AAC is connected. It ohms out and the valve works but it screws up the idle and drops 500 rpm and then goes back up all the time.

If I disconnect the AAC connection again it reduces the idle but still idles irractically??? To get it to be stable again I have to pull the o2 connectors the TPS and reconnect all and them reset TPS and cycle power and recalibrate the TPS as it resets on power cycle and then it is fine again. Unless I plug the AAC back in, then it starts all over.

But I have no idea why it does all this.

I need a Consult cable and software really bad to see what the heck the ECU is seeing.
