Message	by dropping the slave cylinder without disconnecting the hydraulic hose and pulling back the dust boot on the fork then with a grease gun with a needle grease tip get the grease on the pivot ball. happened to my clutch and that solved the squeek. As far as smooth operation try a bleed job If all fails the problem is probably internal to the clutch assembly. ZUL8TR in Orlando,FL
