| Hey guys! Did a little searching, but didn't really find what I was looking for. I bought another project Z with a TT swap. And the clutch is driving me bonkers. It squeaks like mad, and its not smooth at all. IF it were just noisy but smooth, that wouldn't be so bad, but it sticks and makes it really difficult to get into 1st. Very embarrassing to stall at a light when your car sounds like a monster, and it looks like you cant drive. haha. Let me see if I can explain the sticking. When I press the clutch down it squeaks. I believe its a 6-puck clutch. It's got quick some pressure behind it. So, when I'm trying to release it, it wont release smoothly. it'll kind of get stuck a little, and jump, Like it wont go with the flow of my foot...not sure if its making sense. Ill let a little pressure off with my foot and the clutch wont move, then a little more pressure off and the clutch jumps back ...which I have to try and hold it if not I'll stall or screech my tires. It's like the spring is bad or there are some metal parts that are grinding on each other not allowing for a smooth slide. The guy tuning the car said "Its just a clutch bearing" ... So I ordered one. Little ring looking thing, and I get the feeling that's not it. Mechanic says to just get a new clutch pedal from a junk yard. But, that doesnt seem right either. Any ideas ?
