Subject	Door open causes chime with key out and headlights off?

Message	I'm having an issue with a 93 that has a door chime when the door is open even without the key inserted or the headlights on. I know the timing control box might be my culprit, anybody have any other suggestions? It might be unrelated but the outer driver door lock mechanism is broken and cannot be lock with a key from the outside.
