Message the main difference/benefit is clutch surface area, it's better to do more surface area and less pressure. Everytime you press the clutch the weight from the pressure plate is also pushing the crank forward which wears your lateral crank bearing out and in some cases it will wear out your bearing to the point of causing crank walk...... To help alleviate some of that stress I disabled the clutch sensor for starting up, so now when the motor is cold and all the oil has settled to the pan I just put the tranny in nuetral and start the motor without clutching :)
