Message Thanks in advance TT.net your the bestest.

Ok so my Greddy Profed B spec 2 won’t limit my boost no matter what I have it set to. It used to work but I’m not sure when it quit working. This is what happened before I noticed it not working. My clutch started slipping so when I replaced my clutch with a RPS 5 puck and lightened flywheel. While I had the tranny out I installed SZ 3 inch down pipes and 3” to 2” test pipes. As soon as I got it back on the road I couldn’t control my boost like I used too. Before the install I would keep the boost set at 12.5 PSI. I verified this with a aftermarket gauge and the setting on the controller. After the install boost would boost all the way up to 17. I tried lowering it but know matter how I adjusted it I couldn’t get the boost to come down at all. I thought maybe my issue was a boost leak. I did a boost leak test and had to replace both of the intercoolers and one of the accordion pipes. I fixed all my boost leaks except for one coming off the EGR. I don’t know if it’s the EGR itself or the rubber hose coming off of it. With the leak in the EGR I can still build about 3.5 psi off pressure on the leak tester gauge. Could this leak be what’s causing my controller to be unresponsive? I still think that I should be able to adjust the pressure a little bit with my controller. These are the settings I tried on my controller:

Set 35
Set gain 5
Gain 5%
Limiter 0

Set 35
Set gain 90
Gain 5%
Limiter 0

I tried adjusting the Set up and down to lower the amount of boost and know matter what it doesn’t respond. I tried lowering the set gain as I lowered the set and it still doesn’t respond.

If I understand correctly Set is the duty cycle, the higher the duty cycle the higher the boost. Set Gain is supposed to be set 1-2 psi lower then the target pressure. Gain is to help with boost spikes.

I also swapped out the solenoid on the controller with a new one because I thought the solenoid was bad but I still get the exact same problem.

At this point I am really frustrated and don’t know what to do next. I feel like I should get a new controller but after swapping out the solenoid I don’t know if that will fix anything. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I apologize for my post being so long.
