Long story short , the first engine build by a local shop fail due to excessive oil consumption . I will start pulling the motor out tomorrow , have another shop machine the block using torque plate . This time I will assemble the block myself so I need to everything right. I will be using wiseco pistons and rings 87.5mm (0.020 O.S). The goal is to make about 500-550 hp, max 20 psi of boost, After doing some research , here is the finding regard clearance and rings end gap . Please let me know what you all think? Piston-bore clearance 0.003" Top ring 0.021" Second ring 0.022"
