Message	was on a 95 that already had keyless entry from the factory, whereas the Ash one was before Nissan ever included keyless entry and instead just has power door locks. Without looking at it, I can't verify whether this would have any bearing on your install. It could also just be preference of installation, as I noticed Ash comments that he doesn't like to splice in wires.
