Subject	Steering knuckle conundrum.

Message	Hey guys, I've had a really bad play in my steering wheel since I bought the car, finally got around to replacing the steering knuckle, which was where I had the play. It disappeared almost completely, and I know a little play is normal. So everything seemed fine. 2 days later, and the play has returned, 3/4 of an inch or better before I hit resistance. I have not checked the knuckle again yet, I'm sure that's what it is, but why did it fail so fast? Is there anything I can do to preven the failing? $100+ every couple days for a joint isn't going to cut it.
