Message I believe the warning light works off of the load that all the lights put on the circuit. I had EXACTLY the same issue, every light worked but the warning light still came on. I noticed there was a little corrosion in some of the sockets so I brushed/cleaned them as best I could and the warning light went away.

Additionally I've worked on another Z with a third brake light that was replaced with an aftermarket LED one. All the lights work but the warning light comes on no matter what because the LED's draw less current.
