From what I've seen, the oil leak usually is from the rubber gasket between the rear main seal retainer and the oil pan. It hardens and shrinks with age, and often creates a leak that is mistaken for a rear main seal leak

For no issues use Red Line M/T 90 in trans for best results (n/m)
