Message	engine, the valves do not open and close exactly when the piston is at top or bottom of it's stroke, hence terms like "btdc" (before top dead center). So, the intake valve may be open for a short time while the piston is rising, causing you to hear the air being pushed out. It means nothing. You can google the topic and get long explanations.
