| so i've seen a lot of posts around the "hunting idle" with the possibility of vacuum leaks. my current situation: car idles smooth during daytime driving. i stop at a light and it sits around 800-900rpm. during night driving, i stop at a light or in a drive thru and step on the brake, the idle bounces from 300-900. i turn the lights off and put on e brake because it feels like the car is about to shut off and it comes back to normal 800-900rpm. it seems like the combination of brake plus lights=ridiculous idle
