Message	The worst thing you may have done is shortened the fuel pump`s life a little. The pump uses fuel to cool itself. With no fuel it can get hot and if continuously left in this condition it can "burn out". You probably are hearing things that have always been there, just you are noticing because your freaked out! If the belt continues to sequel you probably need to adjust the tension or replace if it is an old belt.
