[ http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/motor-oil-101/ ] Mobil1 is actually not even "full" synthetic nor is Castrol, they are made from dino base oils. Look for a PAO base oil if you want truly synthetic and I've seen lots of people starting to run Rotella T6 which is full PAO synthetic oil. It's equilvalent to what I run in my diesel for 10K miles. I run a 5W-30 PAO base oil that my father's company makes and will probably switch to 5W-40 next summer. I'm not sure which Mobil 1 oil is fully synthetic, but the TDT was the one I used to use when I actually bought it for the diesel. I add 1/2 bottle of ZDDP now since standards for clean air have lowered the amount. Good point though, if you've made it to 135K so far, why change?
