Subject	shifter assembly problem

Message	Hi guys i got a problem now i was going to replace the oem shift knob when i was trying to removed the old one i heard a snap and i thought great is loose but no now the knob is turning with the shifter assembly what you guys think is broken in there thanks for any advise.
