Message OE Grade bearings are Better. If you have the Sizes figured out, I'd order them.. Aftermarket Bearings will be a 'Standard Size'.. that would be the 'Normal' Machined Size of the Journals and the Bores.. If your Motor is a Tight Motor, then the Bearings will be too small.. Likewise if the Motor is a little Small, then the bearings will be a little loose.. The Aftermarket Bearings hit the 'Middle of the Road' Size.. Factory Size will be a better fit, IF THE JOURNALS ARE NOT WARN DOWN.. as the motors progress past the 100K Mark, things change, and the Factory Numbers are not as close as when the Motor was new.
I did Aftermarket bearings and it worked well.. I am aware of different Motors ( Toyota ) where the Aftermarket Bearings, in a Somewhat New Motor, Spun out because they were too tight..
The Only Oil Pump I have changed on a 300, was out of the Car. That SOB Fought me the ENTIRE way off the Crank.. Pullers and a Torch!.. But it came without breaking anything.. I'd not try it in a car.. Others might have had better luck than me..

Good Luck..

Cj
