Hello, I was removing my master cylinder today and like an idiot though that I needed to disconnect the rod from the clutch pedal. So I removed the clevis pin which was a task in itself. Realizing it was not necessary I tried to put it back in and ended up spending 2 hours cutting up my hand and loosing my patience.
Anyone have advice for re-installing the clevis pin? Am I going to have to loosen the rod? It was perfectly setup before I removed it. Do I just need to get lucky or is there a better way?

Man do I wish there was an article for removing the master cylinder in the tech pages so this would have been avoided lol.
