When I had my turbos and ECU replaced with JWC Sport 500's and ECU, the mechanic disconnected the solenoids and told me not to reconnect them. When I dyno'd the car, it showed that I am running 10psi of boost which is what JWC said was the max with Sport 500's and the original injectors and the A/F ratio looks fine.
My car is a 1995 5-speed with 38K miles. My questions are: why would these be disconnected? and, could this do any damage to the car by having these disconnected? I was under the impression that the ECU controlled the solenoids' opening and closing.
