Just picked up a 93 2+2 bone stock (not even a POP). The car had a rear vibration that I thought was the carrier bearing. After purchase I determined the rear wheel was bent. Swapped the wheels from my white Z (fresh balance/tires) and the vibration is 90% better, but there is still a slight rear vibration that starts around 40 mph and is gone by 60mph.
After inspection I can see the subframe mount bushings are cracked pretty badly (along with some of the suspension bushings) - car has 131K (all original parts). Could this be the cause of the rear vibration?
Thoughts?
