Message I am starting to think I have a combustion leak, because I cannot find my coolant leak. Been leaking for about 6 months. I will get a bit of a splash of coolant in the front passenger side of the engine bay. I mean not even enough to run on the ground or the inside of the lower splash shield. The coolant sprays a bit on the accordion pipe on the passenger side and I have cleaned the spray several times to see if I could find the source of the leak. It looks like it may be leaking from the top of the long L shaped coolant hose. But the hose is new and the clamp is tight. I think the radiator fan is splashing the coolant around the side, that's why I can't pinpoint the leak. Also when I try to loosen the radiator cap it sprays a lot of coolant out the top, and the engine is not even warmed up yet. That's what makes me think I have a combustion leak into the coolant. Maybe when it gets over pressured it will leak out the top of the hose a bit? I don't know why it would leak there. Anyone else have a problem like this? I want to see if this might be this before I buy a tester. Amazon has a tester for about 60 dollars. Thank you.
