Message	i have posted a few times seeking help with hesitation. the weirdest things were causing hesitation in my TT 92, and i just thought i'd give you all my results in case you notice similar issues. had a howl during acceleration at high speeds (40-60) as well as jumping idle. i still ride rough when cold, but hey its a 20 year old car. the cures: first, a new return hose for the hicas system (steering) and then a new hose somewhere in the cooling system. essentially what was happening was ATF (automatic transmission fluid--for hicas) was leaking onto something causing the car to shut off as well as run rough. then, i basically started to overheat and the turbo wasnt getting the proper cooling (turbos need coolant to function properly) so they weren't boosting properly as well as the car was hesitating. good luck if you have any similar problems, but these were the causes/fixes for my TT. runs better than ever.
