Message Plus, something about a copper spray that makes sure it sticks correctly. And, its going to the machine shop so it should be perfectly smooth...

I dont get the compression thing, but it somewhat makes sense what he's saying. Higher compression, means lower boost needed to reach higher horsepower...therefore, saving the life of the turbos. Plus, if the pistons are made for that compression, then there shouldnt be a detonation problem...right?

ZXoltan - I had it at PONS off of Bird. He's the one that somewhat screwed me over. He recommended me to this guy Albert to tune my engine, and then Albert found all these things wrong with the car (vacuum leaks that PONS left, ticking, low oil pressure, leaking oil from turbos, etc). So he said he would rebuild it. PONS offered to give me a new engine, for $4000. Already machined, valve job, wiseco 8.5:1 comp pistons, and stock everything else. With a 1 year warranty. But, then what happens to my engine? This guy is doing that, with JE 10:1 comp pistons, brand new oil pump, new (well used but working) CAS, install fuelab FPR, Install AEM air/fuel gauge, port and polish heads, 3 angle valve job, cometic head gaskets, ARP head studs, Install electric fan, JUN Cam gears, new spark plugs, and check my A/C system, for almost a grand less. He works out of his house in Hialeah. I saw and rode in a 240 with 600+ hp that he built. It's insane. And my car is running the best its ever been after him having it a week....so that's why Im going with him for the rebuild. If you ever wanna meet with him, let me know and I'll introduce you. Oh and I have to hit u up about those parts
