| My new mechanic is telling me a few things, and wanted to make sure everyone here agrees. I apparantly trust a bunch of people on this site more than my mechanic haha. Block is bored .020 he says to go with JE Pistons 10:1 or 9:1 Compresssion, instead of the Wiseco 8.5:1 Comp. My turbos are stock, upgraded to T28 status, but leaking oil so I'll be selling those and getting T28 BB turbos. He says with the higher compression, I can run lower boost and still have the same power, so I dont neeed to buy huge turbos. Cometic Head gaskets. 90mm (for the .020) but we dont know what thickness? He says to go with stock, cant find out what that is. ARP head bolts Going to do a 3 angle valve job, and a port and polish for more air flow. I already have 740cc injectors, everything else is going to be stock. Rods, cams, etc. Not looking to make 600+ hp. Im happy with 400. I dont want to introduce myself to a tree. Does this setup sound about right ?
