| 3 separate noises from the rear that I assumed were differential related: 1. Whining/howling at 45mph and 70mph. I can let off the gas or accelerate and the noise subsides. 2. Clunking from slack in diff when shifting gears or decel/accel. 3. Moaning (like whale mating noises) under heavy torque load (boost) in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. Pertinent info: 66k on body, 6k on rebuilt 550hp/500tq engine 2nd J-spec tranny with 3500 miles. New OEM tranny mount 1 piece DS Swapped 3 different R230s Solid diff bushings Subframe spacers All aftermarket Powertrix suspension except traction rods Warrantied out 1st J-spec due to input shaft whine. Last 2 diffs have done all three noises. No movement from wheel bearings. Possible issues: Diff, DS, wheel bearings, half shafts Insight?
