| Just out of curiosity, will it connect with the ignition switch to the 'on' position without the engine actually running? I tried the cheapo ebay one (why not try it for a few $$) and determined that the higher voltage when the car was running was an issue (That was easy to figure out :/ ). It would not work with the car running but connected OK when the car was just 'ON'. I didn't find that very useful :) . I use a 120A Delco GM alternator and I think my running voltage may be a smidgen higher than what the average Z32 alternator usually puts out - not a big fan of the Z32 alternator, and have thrown GM alternators in every out of warranty car I've had. I lowered the voltage to consult port and it works every time. Just throwing that out there...
