Message Ok, if you have a new and certified PTU, it's fine. It's more likely in the harness connection. Look at the connection and see how green and corroded it is. That place is notorious for corrosion on our cars. Get something like QR cleaner or whatnot, and a wire brush, and get it nice and sparkly. That's a cheap and easy way to eliminate a problem.

Next, have you checked your ECU for codes? If the computer is detecting any errors, you'll find them at the computer. Here is the writeup: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html

My car sat for about 8 years before I tore it apart and rebuilt it. Everyone of my connectors had corrosion and was so brittle they needed to be replaced. You might look carefully at the connectors behind the motor, at the idle air controller, and be sure they're nice and tight.

To me it sounds like you're not running on all cylinders. Start disconnecting coil packs and you'll start to narrow it down. Lots of ways to skin a cat with our cars bro! Good luck!

If I would have known addiction was this expensive I would have seen a shrink a long time ago. --BadZCar (FL)
